"Flags of Valor" on Art Hill in Forest Park.
The “Flags of Valor” were placed on the 15th anniversary of the 9/11/2001 attacks on our Country and to pay honor and tribute to the US Military Service Men and Women who died in theater in the war on Terror. Approximately 7,000 3 foot by 5 foot American flags on 10 foot poles will be installed and displayed, each with the name, information and photo of those lost. A single flag will fly representing each of the wars since the dawn of our country and one flag will fly at the top of Art Hill with the names of all 2996 victims who were lost on 9/11.
