Madison County Juvenile Court Judge, the Honorable Duane Bailey, addresses the Diversion group before they started their work of cleaning the Williow Building at the Alton Mental Health Complex. The Madison County Juvenile Diversion Program cleaned the building at the request of the TeamIllinois Youth Police Camp, who will be holding their 4th annual residency camp for Metro East youth, ages 13-15, at the facility on July 12-17, 2009. The Juvenile Diversion program combines community service with concrete measures to change the behavior and attitude of first time misdemeanor offenders, ages 11-18. The program also helps to place the youth in a positive environment where law enforcement and community role models inspire their individual potential for success.
